The project consisted in the creation of two buildings, a kitchen-dining room/snacks and a bathroom which could be used by the swimming pool area in front. All this, however, by trying to fit aesthetically well and safeguard the garden composed of typical Mediterranean plants of the area. The intent was indeed to reconstruct respecting the local tradition elements by trying to make the volume as “essential” as possible. The kitchen snack-building, with a sinuous and sensual shape, is constituted by a building with pitched roof where the living area is located. The bathroom building, nearby the previous building, has a non-shape form in order to be the least impactful: a “spiral” shape. This, moreover, internally and in its use, allows to have a close continuity with the surrounding environment thanks to a roof in extra-light crystal. Formally, the project unfolds into elements ascribable to “pure” volumes that, “linked” together by a system of walls, acquire "complexity"; from the organic nature of the complex, a series of “intimate” spatialities are generated, where the elements of the landscape are “respected”.
